Photos must be 100 dpi (dots per inch) at the size of the portrait that you choose. Regardless of the file size, an image that is fuzzy when it is small will still be fuzzy when it is made larger.  Remember to choose the appropriate type of portrait for the image you are using; for example, if you have an image that is more horizontal you will get best results from choosing a horizontal portrait.  For vertical images, the vertical portrait is the best choice.  It's best to always preview your order before you place it, just click on "Update" or "PDF Preview."  If you see the image isn't aligning correctly in the preview, please email us and we'll help you.

At least a 3 megapixel camera is required to take a large format picture. Most digital cameras will allow you to change the resolution settings. We highly recommend using the SHQ (Super High Qualitiy) or SuperFine mode on your camera with minimum compression.

Resolution Guide

Digital Photographs must be 300 dpi (dots per inch) at 8x10 size to fit in the photo area of the calendar template. Logos should be submitted 300 dpi at about 2.5” maximum size for the calendar template.

Year-At-A-Glance Calendar images should be 300 dpi at 5x7 or 4x6 for best results.
